Background focus

We (Grace, Amanda, Bailey, and I) got these different depth of field by trying to adjust in different amounts. This either blurs or focuses in different amounts.

Good job getting the various areas in focus. It's difficult with these cameras since the small CCD size creates a LARGE depth of field by default.
ReplyDeleteUsing these techniques though you can choose to make various parts of the picture blurry, and thus make the clear subject stand out more.
Note, in the last picture of Amanda you could make the background more blurry by having it far away (like use the mountains instead.)
Cool effect with the "camera eye"!
