How to Build a pin hole camera

1. Find all meterials needed for your camera. In our case we used an

• empty coffee can (for the dark box.)
• tin foil to make sure no light gets in.
• rubber band to hold tin foil
• a pin to make hole
• photo paper
• tape to hold photo paper in place.

2. We covered the coffee can with tin foil, secured it with a rubber band and covered it with the lid again.3. We then took a pin and poked a hole through the center of the coffee can making sure it got through both the lid and the tinfoil.


4. To create our shutter we folded over a piece of duct tape and stuck it so the sticky side was next to the hole making a flippable shutter.

der="0" />5. Once our camera was created we were able to easily remove the lid, place in the photo paper, re close the lid, go outside, lift open the shutter and take a picture.
